Gabrielle was most recently a historical consultant for ‘A History of Royal Scandals’ (2024) and ‘Queens That Changed the World’ (2023) on Channel 4 and is able to offer consultancy work more broadly on queenship, medieval Europe, gender, and sexuality in addition to the academic services below. She has also appeared on BBC Radio 4 as a guest on ‘You’re Dead To Me’ and Ellie Taylor’s ‘Safe Space’ series. Copyediting and Proofreading

Gabrielle is an experienced copyeditor and proofreader, having conducted a number of assignments for academics prior to publication. She is able to provide copyediting and proofreading for scholars, and references are available on request. Archival and Field Research

Gabrielle has also undertaken several years of archival and field research for her PhD, and has recently expanded this to a professional service, providing archival research in the Humanities, initially undertaking several projects for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Her recent research assignments include contracts for local government historical sites, diversifying medieval histories projects for The National Archives (UK), and parish histories for Victoria County History. She is happy to provide research on a number of topics and can provide references upon request. Her initial services are available for those requiring archival materials in the UK, however, further research in Western European archives is available upon consultation.
