Copyediting and Proofreading

Gabrielle is an experienced copyeditor and proofreader, having conducted a number of assignments for academics prior to publication. She is able to provide copyediting and proofreading for scholars, and references are available on request. Fees: £25 per hour.

Archival and Field Research

Gabrielle has also undertaken several years of archival and field research for her PhD, and has recently expanded this to professional services, providing archival research in the Humanities with a particular desire to assist those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. My recent research assignments include modern UK medical history and medieval land grants, and I am happy to provide research work on a number of topics. My initial services are available for those requiring archival materials in the UK, however further research in Western European archives is available upon consultation. This service can also include transcription of medieval and early modern records, to be discussed at the arrangement of the assignment.

Fees: £25 per hour for archival research, £10 per hour for work outside archives. Transcription and translation costs on request. Related expenses including travel, copying, or entry fees are not included in these fees.
